چکیده

Strain FM11-1 was isolated from flowers of Solanum torvum that were collected in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, Thailand and characterized using a polyphasic approach as Gram-positive, facultatively anaerobic with short chains catalase-negative cocci. This strain produced L-lactic acid glucose closely related to Enterococcus durans NBRC 100479T, faecium NRIC 1145T, hirae ATCC 9790T, lactis LMG 25958T ratti DSM 15687T (98.92-99.73 %) based on 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity. The draft genome had 2,784,928 bp contained 2,586 coding sequences, genomic G+C content 38.07 mol%. Values ANIb, ANIm digital DNA-DNA hybridization (dDDH) between the closest strain, E. 97.23%, 98.30% 83.7%, respectively. predominant cellular fatty acids C19:0 cyclo 8c C16:0. identified characterization analysis. genes involved carbohydrate fermentation specialty antibiotic resistance. showed adhesion ability (0.43±0.11) Caco-2 cells but no cytotoxicity against Caco-2, HepG2 Vero cells.

Complete Genome Sequence of Enterococcus mundtii QU 25, an Efficient l-(+)-Lactic Acid-Producing Bacterium

Enterococcus mundtii QU 25, a non-dairy bacterial strain of ovine faecal origin, can ferment both cellobiose and xylose to produce l-lactic acid. The use of this strain is highly desirable for economical l-lactate production from renewable biomass substrates. Genome sequence determination is necessary for the genetic improvement of this strain. We report the complete genome sequence of strain Q...

Draft Genome Sequence of a New Homofermentative, Lactic Acid-Producing Enterococcus faecalis Isolate, CBRD01

We report here the draft genome sequence of the novel homofermentative Enterococcus faecalis isolate CBRD01, which is capable of high lactic acid productivity and yields, with minimal nutritional requirements. The genome is 2.8 Mbp, with 37% G+C, and contains genes for two lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) enzymes found in related organisms.

Draft Genome Sequence of Probiotic Enterococcus faecium Strain L-3

We report here the draft genome sequence of the bacteriocin producer Enterococcus faecium strain L-3, isolated from a probiotic preparation, Laminolact, which is widely used in the Russian Federation. The draft genome sequence is composed of 74 contigs for a total of 2,643,001 bp, with 2,646 coding genes. Five clusters for bacteriocin production were found.

Complete genome sequence of Lactococcus lactis IO-1, a lactic acid bacterium that utilizes xylose and produces high levels of L-lactic acid.

We report the complete genome sequence of Lactococcus lactis IO-1 (= JCM7638). It is a nondairy lactic acid bacterium, produces nisin Z, ferments xylose, and produces predominantly L-lactic acid at high xylose concentrations. From ortholog analysis with other five L. lactis strains, IO-1 was identified as L. lactis subsp. lactis.

Studies on Antagonistic Activity and Probiotic Properties of Enterococcus Faecium and Lactococcus Lactis

The present study compared the antagonistic activity and probiotic properties of two Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) such as Enterococcus faecium NCIM 2605 and Lactococcus lactis NCIM 2606. Bacteriocin from both the cultures was produced using MRS broth by shake flask fermentation. In well diffusion method, the cell free supernatant (CFS) of E. faecium showed activity against both gram positive and ...
